विद्यालयको ऐतिहासिक पृष्ठ भुमि: शिक्षक सेवा आयोग पाँचौ संशोधन नियमावलि २०६८/१०/०९ लागु भएपछि वि. स. २०६७ सालमा समुदायको सक्रियताका कारण कंचनपुरको साविकको वाइसी विचवा गा.वि.स. ६ भिमवस्ती हाल पू.न.पा.१० भिमवस्ती स्थित श्री पशुपती आधारभूत विद्यालय स्थापना भएको थियो । शिक्षा संग सकारात्मक सोच भएका शिक्षा प्रेमि, समाज सेवी, शिक्षक, राजनैतिक दलका अगुवाहरुको पहलबाट श्री भिम सामुदायिक वन संरक्षण उपभोक्ता समितिको ३ कोठे भवन र पशुपती मन्दिरले भोग चलन गरेको ०–१४ –० कठ्ठा जग्गामा यस विद्यालयको स्थापना गरी यस विद्यालयको नामाकरण पनि श्री पशुपती आधारभूत विद्यालय राखिएको थियो । कंचनपुर जिल्लाको पूर्नवास नगरपालिका वार्ड नं. १० स्थित स्थित श्री पशुपती आधारभूत विद्यालय पूर्वमा धनगढी उपमहानगरपालिका तथा पू. न. पा. ११ अमरवस्ती पश्चिममा साविकको कालिका गा.वि. स दक्षिणमा भारतको दुदुवा नेशनल पार्क उत्तरमा नेपालको शुक्लाफाँटा आरक्ष संग सिमाना जोडिएको छ ।
वि. स. २०६७ सालमा स्थापना भएसँगै कक्षा १ को अनुमती २०६८ सालमा प्राप्त भएको थियो भने २०७२ सालमा कक्षा ५ सम्मको अनुमती प्राप्त भएको थियो । स्थापना कालका श्री विरसिहं साँयदको संयोजकत्वमा समिति गठन भई वाइसी विचवा गा. वि. स.द्धारा गाँउ परिसषद्ले विनियोजित गरेको २,००,००० दुई लाख अक्षेररुपीमा २ कोठे अर्धकच्ची फर्निचर सहित भवन निर्माण कार्य श्री दुर्गा कुवँर क्षेत्रीको अध्यक्षतामा निर्माण भएको उपभोक्ता समितिले उदाहरणिय कार्य गरी सामुदायको सहभागितामा यस विद्यालयको पहिलो योजना सम्पन्न गरिएको थियो ।
त्यसै गरी मन्दिर उपभोक्ता समितिका अध्यक्ष श्री गोपाल काफ्ले ज्युले मन्दिर समितिको निर्णय अनुसार उक्त मन्दिरले चर्चेको जग्गा विद्यालयलाई हस्तान्तरण गरी महत्वपूर्ण भुमिका खेल्नसभएको थियो । यस विद्यालय क्षेत्र संग सम्वन्धित सम्वन्धित सम्पूर्ण समुदायको व्यक्तिहरु शिक्षक राजनैतिक दलका प्रतिनिधि चन्दादाताहरुले आफ्नो क्षमता अनुसार आर्थिक र भौतिक र भावनात्मक सुझाव दिइ स्वयम् सेवक शिक्षककाृ रुपमा प्र.अ. श्री कविन्द्र विष्ट, श्री तुल ब. खड्का, श्री पार्वती साउँद, श्री विमला ओझा(जोशि), लक्ष्मिराज जोशि लगायतका शिक्षकले निश्वार्थ रुपले शिक्षण कार्यमा सहयोग गरेका थिए भने मिति २०७२ सालमा श्री उदय सिँह झुकाल, श्री टेक ब. शाह र श्री राम प्रसाद पोखरेल सहित ३ स्थायी दरबन्दीमा सरुवा भई यस विद्यालयमा हाल सम्म निरन्तर रुपमा अध्यापन कार्य गर्दै आउनु भएको छ ।
शैक्षिक कार्यक्रम: यस विद्यालयमा निम्नलिखित शैक्षिक कार्यक्रमहरु संञ्चालनमा रहेका छन् ।
- शुक्रवारे अतिरिक्त क्रियाकलापहरु - श्रुतिलेखन चित्रकला - कपडि, दौड - सरसफाई सम्बन्धी - कार्यक्रमहरु - जुुकाको औषधी, आइरनचक्की - प्राथमिक उपचारHistorical Background Following the implementation of the 5th Amendment of the Teachers Service Commission Regulations (2068/10/09 BS), Shree Pashupati Basic School was established in 2010 AD (2067 BS) through strong community initiative. It is located in the former YC Bichawa VDC Ward No. 6, now Punarbas Municipality Ward No. 10, Bhimbasti, Kanchanpur.
Through the collective efforts of education enthusiasts, social workers, teachers, and local political leaders, the school began its journey utilizing a 3-room building provided by the Shree Bhim Community Forest Users Committee and a 0-14-0 Kattha land plot owned by the Pashupatinath Temple.

Geographical Boundaries: The school is bordered by Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City and Punarbas-11 Amar Basti to the east, former Kalika VDC to the west, Dudhwa National Park (India) to the south, and Shuklaphanta National Park (Nepal) to the north.

School Development & Expansion:

2011 AD (2068 BS): Received official approval for Grade 1.

2015 AD (2072 BS): Upgraded with official approval to run classes up to Grade 5.

Infrastructure: The first school construction project was formed under the coordination of Mr. Bir Singh Saud. Under the chairmanship of Mr. Durga Kunwar Chhetri, a user committee utilized a 200,000 NPR budget allocated by the YC Bichawa VDC Council to construct a 2-room semi-permanent building equipped with basic furniture.

Land Contribution: Mr. Gopal Kafle, Chairman of the Temple User Committee, played a crucial role by formally transferring the temple land to the school following a committee decision.

Volunteer Teachers: In the early stages, several teachers served selflessly without remuneration, including Headteacher Mr. Kabindra Bista, Mr. Tul Bahadur Khadka, Ms. Parbati Saud, Ms. Bimala Ojha (Joshi), and Mr. Laxmi Raj Joshi.

Permanent Faculty: In 2015 AD (2072 BS), three permanent teacher posts were transferred to the school: Mr. Uday Singh Jhukal, Mr. Tek Bahadur Shah, and Mr. Ram Prasad Pokharel, all of whom continue to serve to this day.
